How payouts relate to balances

An available balance, a pending balance, and a created payout are different records. Pending funds may still depend on transaction completion or account conditions; an actual payout should have its own reference, amount, destination summary, date, and status.

Read payout statuses in context

• Prepared or scheduled indicates an upcoming movement that may not have begun.
• Pending or processing indicates the movement is not final.
• Completed indicates the platform has recorded its processing step, while destination display may still vary.
• Returned or failed indicates that the movement did not reach its intended destination and needs review.

Reconcile gross activity, fees and adjustments

1. Select one payout and note its ID, date, amount, and destination summary.
2. List included payments, refunds, reversals, fees, reserves, and recorded adjustments.
3. Calculate the expected net value using full precision.
4. Compare your result with the payout record and check cut-off times.
5. Escalate only the unexplained difference with safe supporting IDs.

Investigate timing and destination issues

• Use banking days rather than calendar days when considering elapsed time.
• Check weekends, holidays, account notices, review requirements, and destination-bank processing.
• Confirm that the payout exists rather than assuming pending balance is already moving.
• If a destination summary is unfamiliar, protect the account and contact support immediately.

Understand fees without assumptions

Fee types, amounts, and schedules depend on the account arrangement and recorded transaction activity. Use the fee detail available in your account and reconcile it against the related transaction or payout.
